Positive behavior for learning poster

 

Hi my name is Deon today my class had to make a poster about positive behavior for learning in the classroom. Our 3 main PB4L'S are 

1. respect others 

2. respect yourself

3. respect the environment 

In Wesley we take our 3 key PB4L'S very seriously because its good to respect others, respect yourself and the environment because its good to keep the school clean so the birds and other animals that end up coming to our school don't get sick, its good to treat others with respect because they will show respect back, and its really good to respect yourself because if you don't have respect for yourself like, wearing correct uniform, and being on task.

 Hi my name is Deon and today in class me and Marley were told to make a video on us speaking Maori. Today we made a video of us picking up 5 different objects and asking each other what the object is but in Te reo Maori. 

Today the words we learnt was He ___ Tena (that is) and He ____ Tenei (this is)

The objects we used was

. Pepa (paper) 

.pene (pen) 

.rorohiko (computer/laptop)

.Tepu (table)

 Hi my name is Deon and today in class we were learning about bed-mas. That video at the top is a little explanation of how you can do it but if you don't feel like watching the video i will explain how to work out bed-mas.

 first: parentheses and brackets

these are parentheses( ) these are brackets [ ]  these two are used to form groups in math so you don't get confused like this 7 x 3-3 = instead you can do this 7 x (3-3) =

second: exponents

instead of doing this 3 x 3 x 3 you can do 3 x 3³ this means 3 x the number above it 

third: multiplication and division witch should be explanatory 

fourth: addition and subtraction witch is also self explanatory 

So yeah this is pretty much how you work out bed mas i hope this helped who ever needed it.
